Andy Playter - Head Athletic Trainer
Andy begins his 3rd season with the Leafs as the team's Head Athletic Therapist. Spend one season in the same role with the Leaf's AHL affiliate, The Toronto Marlies and three seasons as an assistant athletic therapist in Ottawa prior to joining the Maple Leaf organization. Andy has previously worked in various athletic therapy settings including junior hockey, University athletics, and professional football. Playter is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University as well as Sheridan College's Sports Injury Management Program. Playter successfully achieved his Certified Athletic Therapist designation from the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association upon graduation. Playter and his family reside in Milton. He and his wife Tammy have three children: son, Tyler (13), daughter, Brooke (10) and son, Reid (8). When away from the rink, Andy enjoys spending time with his family.

Marty Dudgeon - Asst. Athletic Therapist
Marty is in his third season as the Assistant Athletic Therapist with the Toronto Maple Leafs. Prior to joining the Leafs, Marty spent 8 seasons with the Vancouver Canucks and one season as the Student Therapist for the Toronto Blue Jays. Marty graduated from Brock University and Sheridan College prior to completing his certification exams with the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association. Marty, his wife Julie and son Jordan reside in Milton Ontario.
