David Zeis - Head Athletic Trainer
Dave Zeis returns as head athletic trainer in his fourth season with the Dallas Stars. Prior to that, he spent seven seasons as the head athletic trainer for the Columbia Inferno and Pee Dee Pride of the East Coast Hockey League. Dave has been certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association since 1995 and is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist.

Zeis earned a Bachelor of Science degree from SUNY Brockport in New York where he also played collegiate hockey. He also worked at University Sports Medicine at the University of Buffalo from 1993-95 as a clinical therapist and research coordinator.

Dave and his wife, Michelle, live in Prosper with their son Brendon (7).

Steve Sumner - Head Equipment Manager
Steve Sumner begins his sixth season as head equipment manager and his 11th season with the Stars, serving his first four years with the team as assistant equipment manager.

Prior to coming to Dallas, Sumner spent six years as the equipment manager with the Houston Aeros of the International Hockey League, where he was a part of the club's 1999 Turner Cup championship.

Sumner has also served on the equipment staffs for the St. Louis Blues and the Dallas Freeze of the CHL. He is a member of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association.

Sumner and his wife, April, and their daughters Sierra and Taylor, reside in Lewisville.

Brad Jellis - Athletic Trainer / Strength Coach

Craig Lowry - Asst. Athletic Trainer
Craig Lowry begins his eighth season in the Stars athletic training staff, his third as associate athletic trainer. Lowry served as head athletic trainer for four seasons with Dallas' then-American Hockey League affiliates in Utah (2003-04) and Iowa (2005-08).

He was also a part of the Stars' Stanley Cup championship club in 1999. Lowry earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Abilene Christian University and a Masters of Education from Central State University in Edmond, Okla. Lowry worked as the assistant athletic trainer for the Amsterdam Admirals in the World League of American Football and as the head athletic trainer for the Rhein Fire, also in the WLAF.

Lowry resides in his native Dallas.

Dennis Soetaert - Asst. Equipment Manager
Dennis Soetaert begins his fifth season with the Dallas Stars, his first as assistant equipment manager. He spent the past four years as equipment assistant.

Before joining the Stars, Soetaert, 29, spent two seasons as head equipment manager of the ECHL Columbia Inferno and one with the ECHL Florence Pride. As assistant equipment manager with the AHL Houston Aeros, Soetaert was a part of the club's 2003 Calder Cup championship squad.

Soetaert is a native of White Plains, N.Y., and resides in Plano.

Donny White - Asst. Equipment Manager
Donny White enters his first season with the Stars, coming to Dallas from the Charlotte Checkers of the ECHL, where he served as head equipment manager last season. He previously worked two seasons as head equipment manager for the Mississippi Sea Wolves (ECHL). During the 2006-07 season, White was the assistant equipment manager for the Houston Aeros (AHL), and spent seven seasons with the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks (AHL) - five as a stick boy and two as an assistant equipment manager. A native of Cincinnati, White attended Southeastern Illinois College.
